5 Quick Buttons
These buttons are ALWAYS PRESENT on the screen, at the bottom of the app page. Once clicked, they directly speak a sentence or a sound, without requiring additional clicks.
The spoken sentences are NOT integrated into the ongoing conversation: the goal is also to address very urgent needs without cluttering the current conversation.
The SPEECH button allows the user to communicate to the interlocutor that they are in the process of responding and therefore still need a little more time.
When the user is on the settings, the buttons automatically reduce their size to make more room for the settings interface.
Configuring the SOS Button
The red SOS button is used to alert family members or caregivers that an emergency is occurring.
By default, the SOS button says “Help me, it’s urgent!”. It can also be set to emit an alert tone instead.
How to change the behavior
- Open Settings → Extensions → Predictions.
- Click the gear icon next to the Shortcuts extension.
- Choose between voice or alert sound for the SOS button.
You can also set:
- Number of repetitions –
0means the message repeats indefinitely. - Interval between repetitions – the seconds of pause between each voice or sound alert.
NOTE: If the alert sound keeps playing, you must either tap any quick‑response button again, start a new conversation, or end the current conversation to stop it.
